Five years ago, I was reintroduced to a woman I had met at a food conference in NYC. A woman who brewed a batch of rosemary in hot water and mentioned how rosemary is an herb good for hair care. How if you look carefully at the shape of the individual rosemary piece on a sprig, you can see the resemblance to a hair follicle. I was hooked. Because I was having issues with my scalp and I had for the life of me struggled for months leading up to that moment, to find a solution. I'll spare you the particulars of my scalp, especially because I didn’t find the solution I was looking for then or now for that matter. I did find something even more important though and something that has me here with my business. I’ll share more about that at another time though.
Anyhow, I bring the woman up briefly because she was a key player in the beginning stage of finding myself. My scalp was really just a way to remind my physical self to find my body. To feel all the feelings in my body - the itchiness, bloating, both comfort and discomfort, and more.
